Duties and Accountabilities:
- Software Development - design, development, documentation, release and maintenance of software components
- Technical management - working closely with the product manager to prioritise, estimate, manage the technical work of the team, manage incidents and work with customers to understand their requirements

Technical Expertise:

A background in Spring/Spring Boot, Java 8, Node, Gradle, Maven and Ant

Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Micro Services, CQRS and event sourcing

Exposure to RESTful Services, Git, MongoDB, Cassandra and Postgres

Exposure to Extreme Programming Environment

DevOps skills (eg Docker, Jenkins etc)

Ideally Javascript skills, particularly those including Angular/React or Typescript

Exposure to OOP with C, C++, C#, Scale would all be very useful

Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Azure DevOps.
- Linux, Azure cloud knowledge are essential with strong technical skills and experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS - (standalone/managed), Bitbucket, Git, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Ansible, Gradle, SONAR and Artifactory.
- Demonstrable experience of infrastructure as code.

- Azure API Management (APIM) & Monitoring
- Azure Virtual Networks / NSGs / Custom Domain

This would be a great career move for you if you are:
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about writing code, with several years' commercial experience working with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, Typescript, HTML/CSS, Python and C#, combined with a solid understanding of how web technology works.
- Comfortable with REST APIs and developing software to interact with them
- Keen to work with the latest mapping, geospatial, cloud and web technologies
- Familiar with automation, code management and deployment technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, Notebooks and Serverless
- Able to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers

Job Title: Performance Tester
We are looking for an experienced automation Performance Tester for one of our projects.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on non-functional/performance/reliability testing experience - a minimum of 7 years experience
- Experience of working and successfully delivering in the financial sector, ideally in a trading environment
- Knowledge of tools such as JMeter, Jira and Zephyr on both a Windows and Linux platform
- Ideally have worked in a low latency environment - if not, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge of low latency
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead a team, motivate and develop them
- Creation of test reports and conveying key aspects to customer in both technical and non-technical terminology
- Knowledge of coding languages such as JAVA/C#
- Experience of Test management tools - JIRA, Silk Central
- A complete understanding of the Defect Management life cycle and knowledge of one or more defect management tools eg TFS, JIRA or HP ALM.
Desirable Skills
- Strong experience of BDD with Specflow and Gherkin
- Excellent communication
- Collaborative and comfortable in a consultant role
- Agile Scrum experience

- 3+ years experience as an Automation Test Engineer
- Strong background in QA and Agile QA techniques
- Proven experience translating technical documents into test scenarios
- Self-starter and ability to work autonomously
- Integrating our UI framework with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience automating functional testing of software, writing scripts in Java Scripting, using tools such as Cypress
